To brew a robust cup of coffee, use a pre-used Vertuo pod, remove the foil, and clean it. Fill it with a medium-fine grind of dark roast coffee, lightly tamp the grounds, and ensure the edges are clean. Press the cap firmly onto the top of the capsule, making sure the lip of the cover is securely in place, then insert it into the machine and brew.

The flavor is primarily dependent on the precision of your grind and fill. Too fine a grind, overfilling, or excessive tamping can result in a weak, little coffee. When filling the pod, make sure there's sufficient space between the coffee and the reusable lid for proper water flow.

These silicone Vertuo pod lids are compatible with all Vertuo pod sizes (1.35 oz, 2.7 oz, 5 oz, 7.8 oz, and 14 oz) and can be used with all VertuoLine machines on the market, including the Vertuo GCA1, Vertuo Plus, and Vertuo Next.
