Shop / recafimil stainless steel nespresso capsule large
Founded in 2010 and located in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, we are a small group focused on offering refillable capsules for espresso lovers. Our mission is to offer as much as we could under the concept of "save, green, and fun." Recaps, which stands for re + capsule, means continuous circulation, green, and reusable, which is the mission we adhere to.
We develop, make toolings, and produce both stainless steel and plastic capsules ourselves. What makes our products unique is that we create our own capsules instead of simply reselling existing ones. The Earth produces hundreds of millions of discarded coffee capsules that are not easily decomposed and recycled every year, so we hope to design alternatives that reduce the amount of waste and avoid the use of plasticized materials.
The original Vertuoline pods are costly for daily use and not good for the environment. Although you can reuse your original pods, the shell is easily damaged and can only be used for several times. That's why we developed the stainless steel filter compatible with the Vertuoline machines, which will help you save money, be good to the environment, and enjoy your favorite coffee.
The item included in this listing is only 1 stainless steel filter. You will need to buy extra aluminum lids, which you can find on Amazon with the ASIN# B072WL44MK. This filter is not compatible with Breville & DeLonghi Vertuoline Next Maker or Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee Machine.
We are happy to introduce you to how to use the filter properly. It's worth trying a few times to get the hang of brewing a rich espresso, which includes learning which coffee grounds are better, how much to pack into the pod, and how tightly the grounds should be pressed.
Grind is everything when it comes to getting a nice espresso. We recommend using medium or fine grinds generally. Please open a new original Nespresso Vertuoline pod and study the grind in the pod, or try some Lavazza, Illy, or other brand's grinds to see the difference. We have found that the cream produced with Lavazza and Illy ground coffee is very similar to the original pod.
Pack and press the coffee grounds appropriately. Try using different volumes (usually 8-10g) of coffee grounds in the pod to find the best type you want. Do not over-grind the beans too fine, as that may result in a diluted espresso. Also, don't super press the coffee grounds like those who work in coffee shops with a commercial half-manual coffee machine; just slightly press.
In summary, our reusable coffee pod is made of #304 stainless steel for lifetime use and is environmentally friendly. It allows you to use your favorite coffee grounds, saving you money compared to buying original coffee pods. Just be sure not to overfill the pod or use too fine of a grind, and enjoy the fun of coffee DIY.
